Join our teaming group:
With a monthly mini-contribution of 1,- € you help us and the dogs. Because, as we all know, small fry also make a mess. And the more people give one euro, the more food and medicine can be paid for.
Become part of our Tiny Shelter Teaming group and help help the dogs. Just follow the link to register and support the Tiny Shelter and the dogs with only 1 € per month – less than a burger or a parking ticket!
Taking over a sponsorship for one or more dogs
With a monthly sponsorship of 5,- € (or more) you help your four-legged godchild! From the sponsorship money the dogs are dewormed, treated against parasites, vaccinated, medically treated in case of illness and castrated. (Please be aware, it’s a symbolic act. The money is used for all the dogs.)
In return, you will receive a nice sponsorship certificate and will be informed about the progress of your sponsored dog from time to time with our “Sponsorship newsletter”.

Help on site at Tiny Shelter Albufeira
Associação Tiny Shelter is purely donation-based and all helpers and supporters do this voluntarily in their free time. Therefore, all people and dogs are always happy about every visitor who wants to help. What is always needed are manual skills for smaller jobs that arise, as well as everyday help in the shelter such as cleaning the facility, feeding and – of course – extensive cuddling and playtime with the dogs.
So if you should ever go on vacation to the Algarve – come and visit the Tiny Shelter for a few hours or a day and get a personal impression of the whole thing!

Volunteer
If you just can’t get enough of dogs, why not pitch your “tents” directly on site as part of the volunteer program. You can come with your Camper or literally with a tent. Or you visit our profile on Worldpackers and apply for a free place: Tiny Shelter on worldpackers.com
There is a studio with two beds available directly at the shelter. So you can be right in the middle of it, helping to feed the dogs and clean the enclosures and the entire facility. Medication must be given and above all the dogs long for freedom and need to get out of the enclosure and go for a walk in the beautiful and quiet surroundings. Besides, all these wonderful furry noses want so much to trust humans again, be it through cuddles, training or lots of attention.
